"Dale brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and a passion for nursing that is truly inspiring. His vision for nursing leadership aligns seamlessly with the mission of AONL, and his appointment to the Region 9 Board of Directors would benefit the organization and the nursing community at large. From my experience on guiding the American Hospital Association and Vizient, among others, I understand the responsibilities and expectations that come with this leadership role. It is with this insight that I offer my full endorsement for Dale Beatty as a member of AONL’s Region 9 Board of Directors."

"Dr. Dale Beatty is recognized for his exceptional leadership and significant contributions to nursing policy, quality, safety, and health system transformation. I have known Dale since 2008, when I served as the Director of Nursing Practice for the Illinois Nurses Association, and he was a prominent Chief Nurse Officer. We later collaborated on the Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders board, where he served as President and I as Executive Director.

Dale's leadership has resulted in impactful legislation, including the Nursing Staffing by Patient Acuity Act, which established written staffing plans and direct nursing care committees to influence minimum staffing levels statewide. In 2008, he also developed a Nursing Research Fellowship Program to engage clinical nurses in research and promote evidence-informed practices, which has been shared nationally.

As President of the Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders in 2011, Dale was instrumental in my recruitment as Executive Director. As President of the Association of California Nurse Leaders, he continued to advance diverse nursing leaders and promote health policy."

"It is with deep gratitude and admiration that I recognize Dale Beatty, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FADLN, FAONL, FAAN, Chief Nurse Executive & Senior Vice President, Patient Care Services, Stanford Health Care for his unwavering support and his instrumental role in uplifting the Filipino nursing community within Stanford and beyond.
Through his visionary leadership and commitment to inclusive excellence, Dr. Beatty supported the creation of a subchapter of the Philippine Nurses Association of Northern California (PNANC) within Stanford. In less than a year, that subchapter grew into a full-fledged chapter—an incredible milestone that reflects not only the strength of our community, but the power of leadership that values cultural identity and professional development.
Today, that chapter is among the largest of PNAA’s 57 chapters across the country. This rapid growth speaks volumes about the environment Dr. Beatty has helped cultivate—one where nurses are empowered to lead, celebrate their heritage, and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the profession.
On behalf of the Philippine Nurses Association of America, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Dale Beatty. His support is not just an endorsement of an organization—it is a commitment to equity, belonging, and the belief that diversity strengthens the entire nursing profession."
